BEAUTY: Buck Naked Soap Company
If you’re into the natural beauty scene right now, this awesome Canadian company called Buck Naked Soap Company should be at the top of your list!
I came across some of the Buck Naked products in a little shop on Queen West in Toronto. I was immediately drawn to the beautiful display of soaps and salt soaks – you can tell right away they were handcrafted and individually made with so much care! Not only do I love the name, but I also love the rustic look to them.
Buck Naked Soap Company is an all natural, vegan handcrafted beauty brand that opened its doors just over two years ago in Cambridge, ON. These soaps which are hand-poured in small batches to ensure quality and freshness have different soap varieties for different needs. Just to give you a taste – Charcoal & Anise is for detoxifying and purifying, and Oatmeal & Almond Milk is for dry skin.
I chose the Charcoal & Anise Soap simply because I’ve been hearing about the benefits of charcoal so much lately that it felt meant to be! Charcoal soaps absorb deep into your pores to pull out all the dirt and oil. (It was only $8!)
Buck Naked’s Charcoal & Anise Soap “is designed to provide a deep clean. Activated charcoal absorbs dirt and oil associated with acne and problems, washing them away and leaving your skin looking fresh and feeling soft.”
Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Aqua, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Elaeis Guineensis, Persea Gratissima, Sodium Hydroxide, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Parfum (Essential Oil), Charcoal, Activated
After trying it out for almost two weeks, I’ve become a loyal fan. My skin never feels dry or stripped after using the soap. Now, I’m really excited to test out more of Buck Naked’s products! I have my eye on the Eucalyptus Himalayan Salt Soak. I definitely recommend this great company for all you natural beauty lovers! Especially because it’s a local Canadian company!
